INVESTIGATOR: WADELLA NAGAI

Cold spots in several areas, especially on 3rd and 4th floor. While in the old cafeteria area, the
smell of something being baked (a pumpkin smell). The feeling of being followed, this occurred
humorous times throughout the investigation.
While on the 3rd floor on the west end, I thought I had saw a actual person dressed in dark clothing
standing at the top of the landing with their hand resting on the banister looking directly at us as we
walked past the doorway. When I noticed this individual I had looked at them and continued walking
a couple of feet down the hallway. Something told me to look back into the door way and when I did,
the figure was gone. I looked up and down the stairs and did not see anyone. None of us in the
group of 5 had heard anyone or anything such as footsteps.
Prior to this experience Investigator Jadell Anderson and I had witnessed a erratic flashing light on a
small window on a door at the end of the hall on the same end as the stairwell. We both thought it
was other persons taking pictures. As we approached the door it was a surprise to the both of us
that no one was in that area. We could not explain the light source.
On the 5th floor in room 503 while we were doing an EVP session I was standing next to the wall
where there was a small opening into the next room. I kept seeing movement breaking the ambient
light in the opening next to me. At one point I felt a chill as the entire opening appeared to have
been blacked out. Investigator Mandy Deomes and guest: Pamela LaBelle both had thought they
had seen something as well. Other investigators went into the next room and did not locate a source
for the activity.

INVESTIGATOR: BETTY LaBELLE

During the course of the investigation, Betty felt a heaviness on her chest in several areas, she
also experienced cold chills and could not locate the source. While on the 2nd floor she thought
someone was following her down the hall.
While in the Electroshock Therapy room on the 1st floor, she thought she smelt what appeared to
be something electrical burning. This experience was shared with other investigators as well.
On the 2nd floor, she was told by Jadell Anderson that she had just followed someone into the large
room thought to be the old dining room area. While investigating the area she felt a heaviness and
thought that the IR extender on the camcorder was not working properly. Upon further investigation
the IR was working, but was not illuminating a large area of the room. This occurred only in this
area.
On the 4th floor she saw what appeared to be a large shadowy object in the middle of one of the
rooms. After checking into it the shadow was gone. Also on the 4th floor she was filming with the
camcorder and saw one of the doors close about an inch. She thought someone was in the room,
the team did not find anyone there or any practical reason for the door to close.

INVESTIGATOR: JADELL ANDERSON

While investigating the east end of the floor in the cafeteria/dining room area, Jadell was walking
toward the back of the group when she saw someone wearing a white shirt walk into the 2nd
doorway of the large room. She followed what she thought was one of us into the room. Betty was
right behind her filming, Jadell acknowledged to Betty that no one was in there. She and Betty
walked further into the room and this is where the IR illuminator failed to penetrate the darkness at
the west end of the room.
On the 3rd floor, Jadell also saw the flashes of light at the end of hall that was experienced by
Wadella. She also thought that someone was down there taken photos with flash. No one was down
there.

INVESTIGATOR: JASON DEOMES

Our guide took us inside through the basement into the 1st hallway of Waverly, Jason was up front
with him, they both noticed at the same time, what seemed to be a shadow down at the end of the
hall on the right. It looked like an outline of (possibly) a large mans' shoulder and head peeking
from around the corner, then suddenly pulled back and vanished. No explanation but his personal
validation along with the guides eyewitness account seemed hopefully credible.
Jason, as well as other team members had heard several "moans",as well as heavy sobbing or
crying. The moans sounded possibly female and the cries, possibly male or small male child. He
had seen 2 more "shadow people" He believes on the 3rd and 4th floors respectively, run (or
move)across the hall from 1 room to another.
In room 503, with other researchers, just being observant, Wadella and Pamela noticed a shadow
of some sort move between Wadella and the wall beside her, they noted it seemed to have
blocked some light. Mandy also claimed that she had seen something as well. So there was 3
eyewitness accounts to validate the movement.
