NEED HELP?
                           Paranormal Activity Surveillance Team
What To Expect From An investigation

This form is here to provide you with information regarding our procedures. If you are only needing
information and not an investigation you can still fill out the form below, and type in the comments
area that you need information only. Or, you can email us at:
help@past-paranormal.net

After contacting P.A.S.T. regarding an investigation, an appointed member of the investigation
team will contact you either by phone or email. A pre-investigation interview will take place,
usually by phone, please be patient with us, we may ask questions that are personal, but
it is important you answer honestly in order for us to determine the course of action
needed. This step will determine if we are able to assist you or if we need to refer you to
someone else. Once we determine that we can help you, a date and time convenient for you will be
scheduled for the investigation. It is important to keep a log of events prior to our arrival; this will
aid us in properly setting up our equipment for your investigation and will give us a greater
understanding of what to look for. We usually make a grid map of the entire building and each
room in question.

If at all possible we would like to arrange for a visit with you at your location prior to an investigation.
At that time we will ask you to sign several forms. One is a confidentiality release form, this form
tells us the level of information we can or cannot release, to use on our website etc. Another is an
investigation authorization form and finally this form. We will all sign 2 sets of each, so we can
leave you a copy.

We will then conduct a sit down interview with you and any other witnesses you designate (this
interview is an addition to the pre-investigation interview). This interview is will cover any new
questions we may have for you or that you any have for us. We would like to record the interview
either by video or tape recorder, we will use this for future reference. At this time if you have any
paperwork on your location, deeds, old photographs, any information that will help us in
researching the history of your home, we would appreciate seeing them.

After the interview, we will conduct a “walk-through” of your location with you. As we go you can
explain what has happened and where. We may video or snap photos while we do this. We will
then set up the date of your initial investigation.

We will set up a base area, usually a room that has the least activity or on occasion in order to
preserve the evidence we may set up outside. We will do our best not to broadcast our presence
to your neighbors. We will then set up our equipment, usually in the most active areas. We will then
take "base readings" using temperature and EMF equipment. The base readings are essential for
us to have something to compare to while analyzing the evidence after the actual investigation is
complete. The members of the investigation team will spend the next few days or weeks
(depending on the scope of the investigation) reviewing the evidence collected and rule out natural
or man-made causes for the occurrences. The team will review hundreds of photos and hours of
video looking for anything out of the ordinary and keep logs of those audio and visual accounts.
We also listen to hours of audio tape for any type of unusual sounds or voices. This is the longest
process of the investigation. It can take weeks to identify all of the paranormal occurrences that
were captured by the equipment. So please bear with us.

Once all the investigator’s field reports are turned in (one for each investigator) they will then be
compiled into a report and one of us will contact you and this is done in person to fill you in on any
findings. Usually Betty or myself will be at this reveal. We may request to look at certain areas
while there to evaluate certain noises etc. caught on film or audio. In some instances it might be
necessary to make follow up investigations. It's possible that on our first visit no data will be
collected for various reasons and other times activity will be such that ongoing research may be
needed.

Now that you know what to expect from us, we ask that you do a few things for us before we arrive
at your location to investigate.

We would appreciate you finding a sitter for any very small children IF POSSIBLE. Strangers
showing up at their home with equipment and talking about/looking for ghosts may upset and
confuse them, especially if the subject has not been discussed with them.

We understand the excitement surrounding a paranormal investigation. It is preferred that only the
investigators are present during the actual investigation. The residents or owners may remain at
the location, but in an area that is not being actively investigated. As stated above we may ask you
to be apart of the investigation, usually this occurs when your presence may stimulate activity.
Someone not trained may corrupt or contaminate evidence. Our equipment is extremely sensitive
and any crowding, excessive talking, or other noise can ruin the results of the investigation, thus
being a waste of time for you and our investigators.

About Pets, please have your pets caged or better yet confined to an area where we need not
investigate. You can't imagine how much one kitty can affect evidence.

We believe that what people do in their own homes is their business, but P.A.S.T. will
not, under any circumstance, remain at an investigation location where anyone is
intoxicated or under the influence of illegal drugs. We will leave the location
immediately. Please understand this, there will be no exceptions.

We also ask that you inform/have consent of all adults living in the household regarding the
investigation. We do not want to be investigating a location and have an “uninformed by you”, very
angry family member arrive home to find “unwelcome GUESTS” (us). It would make a very
uncomfortable situation for all involved.

We will NOT investigate a location where Black Magic or Satanism is being practiced. If
we find evidence of this at any location, we will end the investigation and leave
immediately. We do not use Ouija boards or similar items during our investigations.
Please understand safety for all involved is number 1.

We do like to feature some investigations on our website. If the investigation of your location is
featured on our site, privacy will also be maintained. This will be accomplished by creating fictitious
name for the location. Photographs will not show any identifiable address, faces, etc., without
express permission. We respect your right to privacy and will not disclose any information about
you or your location unless we have written permission from you. And, even then we do not use
names and exact addresses.

If you have any questions regarding the investigation process or any of the items we have listed.
Please contact us. Remember we might be researchers, but we are also here to help you
understand what is happening in your home, this is our priority.

Thank you,
Wadella Nagai - Founder of P.A.S.T.
