Dedicated in 1885 and originally known as the Mineral
Well Hotel, this hotel is still operating today. Not only does
she offer guest a retreat among the healing waters that
flow from the mineral impacted springs that  beneath her,
guest have reported strange noises and sightings that
give this hotel a reputation as being a haunted location.

Lemp Mansion
The mansion was built in the early 1860's and home to
William J. Lemp. William was the owner of Lemp Brewery
located in St. Louis. The Lemp family was inflicted with
tragedy after tragedy. Mysterious deaths and suicides and
the fall of the Lemp empire has lead many to believe is the
cause of the paranormal activity within the mansion.

Now operating as a restaurant and Inn the mansion is a must
see when in St. Louis.

McPike Mansion
Built in 1869 and originally owned by Henry Guest
McPike, the mansion has long been a favorite of
paranormal seekers.  The mansion is currently being
restored by its current owners.

McPike offers over night campouts by reservation on

Vandalia was the second state capital of Illnois, the
state capital building was were a young Abraham
Lincoln began his career in politics. Built in 1836, the
building has seen its share of history. It is believed
that Abraham Lincoln still walks its halls.
