| Chahokia Mounds Dating back to 700 A.D., the Mounds was once a city of over 20,000. The residence of this city was once called the "Temple Mound Builders", since no one actually knew who they were. Later owned by the Julius and Anna Merten , than bought by their daughter and her husband William Frakes. It is the Frakes family that believe their is a Civil War soldier long past watching over the home. |
